तालीम का बाज़ार (The education market......)

I was having a talk with one of my friends, who was actually telling me the pathetic situation of school admissions in this country. Not that I have not been through the same ordeal when I was trying to avail the admission for my daughter, this however, reminded me of that time when one had to go door to door for providing his/her ward the essential thing called education. In India, unfortunately, the government is not accountable for the money it collects from the people, especially when it comes to providing education to their kids. There is education cess but when it comes to providing education facilities to the people of this country at that time there is no commitment from the government.

Due to this education has become a big business. And nowadays this business is a money guzzling proposition withoug a guarantee of Quality.

The poem below deals with the same issue.





ज़माने की तेज़ हवा का है
असर है इतना ज़ोरदार ...
बचपन के पल बिकते है इस ज़माने में
खुलता है अब तालीम का बाज़ार

सुना था हमने किसी ज़माने में
जन्नत मिलता पढ़ाने से है ...
अब पढने का मौका नहीं मिलना आसान
तालीम मिलता नोट बरसाने से है ....

स्कूल हो , हो कोलेज या फिर हो कोई संस्थान
तालीम का होता व्यापार लेके नोटों का दान ....

शिक्षा चाहे मिले बछो को या फिर मिले शिक्षा का सामान,
कहलाने को शिक्षित पर होना चाहिए
धन का आदान - प्रदान .......

प्रिंसिपल जी बैठे कुर्सी पर देने क्यों शिक्षा का ज्ञान
हाथ में उनके भी है खुजली जब तक
न मिले धन का सामान .......

अ आ इ ई दूर की बात है,
नहीं देंगे मौका ये कलम उठाने का
न अगर दिया इनको नोटों की गड्डी तो
जगह नहीं मुह छुपाने का .....

सर पीटे माँ बाप इस देश में
देश का बना क्या हाल हैं ....
सौ करोड़ की है आबादी पर
हम शिक्षा में कंगाल है ....

पाठशाला के पवित्र स्थान पर
बैठा ये कौन चोर हैं .....
शिक्षा से नहीं नाता जिसका ...
बस दिखावे का ये मोर हैं ..

पल भर भी अगर देखे तो फिर
ये बदलाव से वतन बेज़ार ....
चाहिए तरक्की, चाहिए तेज़ी ....
इसीलिए शायद तालीम का बाज़ार ....

लोकसभा में कुछ कौवे, काई काई से करते हैं
देंगे सबको ऊंची शिक्षा , इसका भी दम भरते है
सच मगर अलग है यारो, चोरो का पूरा परिवार है
हिस्सा इनका भी बटता है यहाँ , जो शिक्षा का बाज़ार हैं ....
