When you get good things at lower price, who doesn't want it. That day when I got an upgrade to the business class with the price of an economy it really gave me a sense of relief and also a little bit of pomp. However, some offers are more irresistible. Getting a diesel car in the price of a petrol car and then actually to fill in diesel in the same talks about both short and long term gains and thus totally outwits the policies of inflation of the government.
The short poem below talks about the same.
मेहेंगा थोडा और पेट्रोल हुआ हैं
"कुछ कर नहीं सकता मैं" कहके
हर मंत्री सभा से गोल हुआ हैं ....
गाडी खरीदू जब सोचा
तब हुआ मेरे अरमानो का खून
पेट्रोल के दामों ने कहीं
हर सपनों को दिया है भून .....
फिर कहीं अखबार के
तीसरे या चौथे पेज पर
देखा अवसर सुनेहरा है
रखा मेरे मेज पर
FIAT लेके आयी है कुछ नए से अंदाज़ में
सस्ती गाडी सस्ता इंधन गूंजे हर आवाज़ में ..
पेट्रोल त्यागो चलो डीजल पर कहता मुझे FIAT हैं
अब कहीं लगेगा मुझे की अपने भी कुछ ठाट हैं ....
चार पहिये चले बेधड़क, मेहेंगाई को कुचलते हुए
पेट्रोल छोड़ अब डीजल पर चल, बोले मन मचलते हुए ....
सरकार की चालें अब नहीं तोड़ेंगी होसलो को
डीजल आज मिटाके रहेगा हर फासलों को ...
यारों अब बात सुनो ....कहाँ मैंने कुछ बहुत
पेट्रोल छोड़ और डीजल पर चलो
खड़े मत रहों बनके बुत ....
